Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Scope and contact
These Terms of Service describe use of vagabonddc.com and Vagabond Bar + Kitchen's online customer messaging services. Vagabond is operated by 1842 Restaurant Company LLC. Questions can be sent to contact@vagabonddc.com or directed to 202-629-1301. Vagabond is located at 1836 18th Street NW, Washington, DC.
Website information
Our website provides menus, hours, events and other restaurant information. Menus, prices, availability and schedules may change. Please contact us to confirm information that is important to your visit. Dietary labels and automated responses are not a substitute for discussing food allergies and preparation requirements directly with our team.
Reservations, orders, gift cards and private events
Submitting a general inquiry does not by itself reserve a table or private space, place an order, or establish an event booking. Follow the confirmation process provided by the restaurant or the relevant booking or ordering service.
Separate reservation, purchase, gift-card and event terms may apply, including any deposits, minimum spending requirements, fees, cancellation policies or refund conditions disclosed for that transaction. These website terms do not replace an agreed event contract or change the terms shown by a reservation, ordering or payment provider.
AI customer messaging
When available, our Google Business Profile messaging service may use an AI agent. Automated answers can be incomplete or incorrect. Please confirm important details, special requests, event terms and food-allergy questions with our team. You can ask to speak with a person or call the restaurant. A general automated reply is not, on its own, confirmation of a reservation, purchase or event contract.
When you choose to use this messaging service, you authorize Vagabond, Google and participating messaging providers to process the messages, contact information and related messaging data you submit to provide the conversation and perform the processing described in our Privacy Policy. This includes Google's security, compliance and spam-prevention processing, including use of message contents to train AI models for spam detection and prevention, and access by participating carriers. These terms do not limit or override Google's applicable RCS for Business terms or its Privacy Policy. Any consent required by law must be obtained through the applicable service process.
Message and data rates may apply under your carrier plan. Send STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to stop messages through Google's RCS service; sending a new message may reopen the conversation. The service is for customer support, not emergencies. Do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, government identification numbers or other sensitive information through it.
Responsible use
Use our website and messaging services lawfully. Do not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent requests, send malicious code or spam, harass staff or other users, or attempt to interfere with the services or obtain unauthorized access. Provide accurate information for any inquiry or transaction.
Third-party services
Our website includes or links to services such as Resy, Toast, Google and social platforms. Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Review those terms when using the relevant service.
Website content
The website's branding, photographs, menus and other content belong to Vagabond or their respective owners. You may view and share links to the website for personal use. These terms do not grant permission to use our branding or reproduce content commercially without the relevant owner's permission.
Availability and your rights
We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free website or messaging availability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or changes the terms of a separately agreed purchase or event contract.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may update these website terms and display the new date here. Updates apply to future use and do not retroactively change an existing event or purchase agreement.
